As the new year dawns, lets do something different. Resolutions are made to be broken, some say, and indeed many are. We could make a decision instead. We could even take some responsibility for the pain and heartache. We can allow ourselves to be victims, or we can take back our right to feel good. Think about it. How can we feel good? Gratification of the senses? Getting stoned? Getting even? Even getting rich. Finding our feet. Then I remember that I tried it all before, or did I? Some folk lead with their head, and some with their heart. Most dont know the difference. Start at home, with yourself. You can change the way you see things. It is your choice. How about smiling, at least once a day. Rain or shine. I guarantee that if you do, things will improve, on all fronts. Make that little effort each morning, smile at yourself if you are alone. Remember, a smile costs nothing. :)

Hows it going? Have you remembered to smile? Have you tried to smile.
Okay. Just be. Just be here, and now. Just be at ease in yourself. Not back then, or in the never land of tomorrow. Just Be now. It is all you have, and all you will ever have. Tomorrow, never comes, it is always now. As a human being, just be. We are the only beings in existance that have forgotten how to be , alive, now. And smile : )
Two Minutes
Take two minutes, literally. Every morning. Sit and be still in mind and body. As the clutter of the day rushes into your head, stop for two minutes. Be aware of your feet on the floor, nothing else. Stay with that awareness. Feel the earth beneath your feet. Relax into that awareness, and be still. Theres plenty of time, and two minutes wont be missed. Ignore any other thoughts, feel the earth beneath your feet. It only takes two minutes to set yourself up for the day.
